The Big Swing Band is gaining popularity in Indiana with its sound of classic swing music which captivated the nation from the 1930’s through the 1960’s. The players are professionals and highly skilled performers from various backgrounds. They play mostly standards from yesteryear recorded by such legends as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Nat King Cole, with some more modern favorites by such artists as Billy Joel, Brian Setzer and the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies. The band also sports its own arsenal of original arrangements as well as a few original tunes.
